| | |  congrès PCS Année 2008 |  | The PCS's annual Conference took place in Brighton south Britain from the 19th to 23rd of may 2008.
More than 1500 PCS' delegates from all sectors and comming from all over Britain have met together.
A SNICA-FO's delegation with Christian GROLIER, Yann HAMON, Patrick CHOPIN and Fabienne BERRYER were invited to take part to this Conference.
We would like to thanks our PCS's comrades particularly Paul WILLIAMS, Steve GRIGOR et Ken RHIND, for their invitation and their excellent welcome. We noticed that sun and pleasant temperatures gave us the stay so nice.
SNICA-FO's General Secretary told on the British Driving Examiners and the DfT's union reps. Afterwards he told on the International Rally set up by PCS where guests from different international delegations talken as well.
Christian GROLIER's speech refer to our recent events espacially the successfull of the 28th February Driving Examiner's strike to struggle privatization of the Driving Tests, then some news about the recent audit led by Lebrun (plans for Driving Tests reform) and above all the effects of the State's reforms in process with their crushing implications for the French Public and Civil Services.
SNICA-FO's General Secretary reminded how workers's solidarity and action are importants particularlly against reforms that aime to distroy European Public Services.
Fabienne BERRYER told on DfT's comrades as well and gave a message of support to British women who hesitate to become Driving Examiner. Our comrade generally reminded how important is to be unionized to fight against the unfairness the workers suffered.
SNICA-FO's delegates observed the different debats among PCS's 2008 Motions but also the union reps's edifying testimonials who are victims of union's discrimation. Here fortunatly the solidarity is at a high level among trade unions comrades.
In name of all its union reps SNICA-FO would like to insure all its supports to British union reps comrades victimized. Their tenacity and unfailing unvolvement are a message of support to all those who are suffering pressures from their management. Through their testimonials we felt better than ever how unicity is a weapon more than a battlement. Because we all know that alone we could be treated with more contempt and unfairness. |
